It will be an emotional weekend for Malaysian Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah (pic) in the final round of the MotoGP world championships in Valencia, Spain.

The Red Bull KTM Tech3 team rider will say goodbye to “his second family” and the top class competition after a difficult campaign trying to adjust to the KTM bike, and he is hoping for a happy send-off.

After two seasons, Hafizh will move back to the Moto2 world championship with Angel Nieto Racing team.

“This is going to be my last round with the team who have been my second family. Plus, it will be my last race in the MotoGP class for now.

“I will do my best and I want to enjoy the whole weekend.

“It’s going to be a tough round, and an emotional one, therefore I really want to do well in order to say goodbye with a positive feeling, ” said Hafizh, who has eight points in the MotoGP championship so far.
